As a performer, she draws from a myriad of influences, both classic and contemporary, with the main objective being to always push the envelope of what is possible and acceptable. Always seeking new heights for herself and for the band, she has fashioned herself eclectic in many ways, and a little bit eccentric at times.
Wobbles is also a talented audio and video engineer, setting up sound for our gigs, and mixing audio demos and video reels.
When not playing in the band, she spends her time dancing, teaching piano, and as the Music Director at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Salinas, where she met Jon!

Born in Arizona and raised in California, Lisa has always known that she was created to sing and perform, using her voice as a gift to share with others.
Lisa grew up in Fresno, CA where she won singing competitions and songwriting awards before entering high school. She continued to hone her talent studying music and vocal training at Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma, and Augustana College in Illinois.
She has performed with David H. Bardowell, Les Coulter, Steve Ezzo, Janice Perl, John Wineglass and others. For the last 30 years, she has shared her talents on the Monterey Peninsula as vocal coach, band performer and worship leader.
On stage or in the studio, Lisa combines Gretchen Wilson’s grit and style with Carrie Underwood’s soulful and sophisticated sound, plus the production edge of Shania Twain. Her innovative song interpretation and heartfelt delivery makes every song personal for her, and for the audience.
When not showcasing her talent with Wild at Heart, she lends her creative genius to the development team with the world-renowned Carmel Bach Festival.

Jack is self-taught, his sound & style influenced by The Beatles, the Stones, Zeppelin, Steely Dan and Fleetwood Mac. He remembers his first big break, auditioning and landing a gig with a Latin rock band. Since then, he has played with several local musicians and bands over the years, including his three sons. He loves jamming with them!
Country music came into the picture in the ‘90s and that country sound got his attention. He has since steered his music career towards that genre.
Having retired in 2018 from AT&T, Jack is devoting more time to honing his craft. Lucky us!
Guitar player Sam Nilsson, a native of Santa Cruz, grew up in the country rather than in the water, like you might suspect.
Over the years, he has played with a broad range of local bands and musicians of various styles, including Jazz, R&B, Blues, Rock and Country. Sam’s passion is exploring musical traditions of all kinds while slinging the six string.
Jon was an Air Force “Brat” moving every 2-3 years, so learning to play music made it easy to make friends. He taught himself how to play guitar at 13, changing to bass at 16. Born in Casa Blanca (cool right?), he’s lived in New Mexico, England and Colorado ending up at Hamilton Air Force Base in Marin County, CA, were we met the Grateful
Jon was an Air Force “Brat” moving every 2-3 years, so learning to play music made it easy to make friends. He taught himself how to play guitar at 13, changing to bass at 16. Born in Casa Blanca (cool right?), he’s lived in New Mexico, England and Colorado ending up at Hamilton Air Force Base in Marin County, CA, were we met the Grateful Dead, Huey Luis and went to the Altamont Speedway Free Festival in 1969 – look it up!
Besides those “guys”, his musical influences include the Beatles, Eagles, Chicago, and Earth Wind and Fire.
It was while he was studying business at Colorado State, when he was introduced to the country music sounds of Willie Nelson and Hank Williams. Side note – he was “band manager” for his kids, middle school and high school classic rock bands.
Along the way, he’s continued to perform in country and classic rock bands while working his day job in computer tech sales.
